The brief was unique, a palette dominated by white and pink that gives off a sleek & modern vibe. What made this an interesting project was to incorporate retail sections that features collectable items such as Bear Bricks, Takashi Murakami’s pop art, KAWS figurative vinyl toys and many more. The intention was to create an overarching design that creates a calming, soothing and light-filled space to contrast the rawness of these collectable items.

Starting with different white walls, floors & joineries finishes and to assimilate the colour pink in bold ways, such as on built-ins, trim work & ceiling. Apart from that layers of pink metallic is seen throughout the interior design. Beyond the entrance is one feature product area. Standing proud, a distinctive 3.7m high feature Bear Brick shelves with curved white steel backing.

Given the design brief & colour palette, we had the opportunity to use Corian Carrara Lino as not only it’s white & grey veins finishes compliments the design as a whole but it’s form being versatile creating seamless curves that embraces the corner allowing for the overall design intent to be achieved.
