As the kitchen had wonderful views to the pool & rural outlook it was obvious to me the island design had to be the hero of the space but not over-power the view. I designed a striking geometric bold angled structure at one end of the island which features Glacier White Corian contrasting with bead-blasted stainless steel on the underside Of the dramatic angle.

The Corian benchtop & integral sink are practical for use by a family. Stainless shelves were incorporated into the back of the island giving it appeal from all angles. The angled leg can be used as a seating area for the family or just left open as a sculpture.
The bar was designed in a similar shape as the Kitchen island, to compliment each other for maximum impact, and to meld the two areas together Glacier White Corian was used again as each room can be viewed from the other. The bar was designed to be slightly softer in form to achieve a New York Loft feel to the lounge space .

The Corian on the bar gives a modern furniture like appeal, and the Corian integral sink was shaped to mimic the angles of the bar.
Beautiful timber flooring is a contrast to the monochrome Corian kitchen and bar, allowing the stunning rural and pool outlook to enhance this remarkable kitchen from both sides of the glass. The white palette, sits seamlessly against the backdrop of exposed concrete walls to created a stunning effect. The overall impression of both rooms is an eye-catching modern piece of art.

Corian Glacier White was the obvious choice to achieve this visual statement with its bold asymmetrical forms incorporating sharp, clean lines. This design in both the Kitchen & the Bar would have been difficult to achieve so seamlessly with any other product.
