Restoring and Protecting New Zealand's Native Forest

Congratulations to the Native Forest Restoration Trust ðŸŒ³ for the successful fundraising campaign to purchase and restore Patui Forest – 361 hectares of significant New Zealand native forest needing restoration in Taranaki.

Why is this so important? The Patui forest is a special place, typical of the ancient lowland forests once found all over this region. The NFRT will help protect and safeguard the future of its wildlife – such as critically endangered long-tailed bats, kiwi, and a wealth of other native bird life.

We are thrilled to be an active partner to the NFRT and hope our contributions will fund the restoration and protection of this and many other New Zealand native forests in the future.
